Catherine (Katarzyna) Machalinski is a strategic business advisor and a Chartered Management Accountant. She achieved a Master’s Degree in Economics after she graduated in 2001. Catherine specialises in helping clients with business consultancy and management accountancy, focusing on the construction sector. She is passionate about business and her work and puts quality and a proactive approach first place.
With over sixteen years of experience working within finance, accountancy and the construction industry and ten years of experience working in sales, Catherine is a powerful asset to help businesses achieve their goals.
Catherine is a regular speaker at events in the UK for organisations such as the Growth Hub, FSB and CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and is bi-lingual, speaks fluent English and is a native Polish speaker.
After her avalanche accident in February 2020, Catherine gave an inspirational speech at Scottish Business Leadership Conference in 2021 about life lessons and attitudes and how to overcome every obstacle.
Fearless, Catherine enjoys rock climbing and mountain biking in her free time. She is officially a Mountain Leader in the UK, a title she achieved on 04 June 2023. She spends nearly every weekend in the mountains with her two children. She encourages her children to love nature and respect the earth.
